Attends 1-5 day Recreation Programs during the week or on weekends. Commits to at least one Rec Program annually.

ADMINISTRATION VOLUNTEER

Is available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Commits to at least 1 day per month.

MEDICAL VOLUNTEER

Must be a current Doctor, Registered or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse. Attends 1-5 day Rec Programs during the week or on weekends. Commits to at least one Rec Program annually.

Camp Quality expects that you will commit to at least one camp per calendar year. Events and camps vary from 1-5 days and the major kids’ camps, which happen 1-3 times a year depending on your region, are when we have the highest need for volunteers.

Do you have experience with children with high needs (e.g. physical disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD, ADHD)?*
Are you able and willing to travel to attend events?*
Programs and events can often be outside the metropolitan area and some travel may be required. Camp Quality does arrange some travel for the major kids’ camps.

We only require references for Recreation and Medical roles. If you are applying for one of these roles, please provide one professional reference and one character reference related to the volunteer role you are applying for. Both referees must have known you for at least 12 months and not be immediately related to you.

Working with Children/Police Checks

Camp Quality requires applicants to undergo a Working with Children’s Check or Police Check (based on state legislation) prior to commencement of the role.

Code Of Conduct and Photo ID

In order to create a fun and safe environment for everyone, Camp Quality requires volunteers to comply with our Policies, Safeguarding Children & Young People Behaviour Guidelines, and Code of Conduct. You will be requested to sign these documents upon commencement of service as a volunteer. We will also request applicants to provide official photo ID at the interview.

Camp Quality Limited collects your personal information to administer our programs, including complying with our legal obligations and if you are a companion, to allow families to get to know you better. We may also collect your 'sensitive information', such as criminal history information obtained through a Police Record Check or Working with Children Check for the same purpose. We also may collect your personal information to promote and communicate with you about our initiatives. If you do not provide the information requested, you will not be considered for a position as a volunteer.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties that provide services to Camp Quality. If you have volunteered as a companion, we may also disclose your personal information to families to enable them to get to know you.
